The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Photo Sources: Leaf from the Holy Thorn tree at the Washington National Cathedral with white rose, red rose and cedarwood border. This image was commissioned by the Cathedral for their "Gifts of Spirit" catalog. They overnight shipped us a sprig from this offshoot of the Holy Thorn at Glastonbury Cathedral so that we could make this very special holiday image.
